How Much Does an LED Video Wall Cost? Complete Breakdown

SV Solutions

The honest answer to “how much does an LED video wall cost?” is a price range, not a number. A complete LED video wall package in 2026 runs anywhere from $9,500 for an entry-level indoor wall to $200,000+ for a premium MicroLED installation, and the spread depends on five specific things: panel quality tier, total square footage, pixel pitch, brightness, and install complexity.

Most LED manufacturers and integrators publish nothing useful about pricing online. You request a quote, wait a week, and get a number you cannot benchmark against anything. This guide exists to fix that. Below, you will find real bundle pricing across every LUMINA series we sell, what each tier is actually for, what drives cost up or down, common pricing mistakes, a vendor-vetting checklist for any quote you compare, and how schools and businesses typically finance these purchases.

We are SV Solutions, a U.S.-based LED video wall manufacturer headquartered in Houston, TX. We publish our bundle prices online because we believe an informed buyer is a faster buyer. If a vendor will not give you a number, that vendor is hoping you do not know what the market actually charges.

Industry context

Why LED video wall pricing is so opaque online

Search “LED video wall cost” and most results are either vague (“it depends”) or push you to a contact form. There are three reasons the industry hides numbers.

  • Channel-partner pricing. Many manufacturers sell only through resellers and AV integrators who set their own markup. The manufacturer cannot publish prices without undercutting their channel.
  • Custom-quote economics. Anchor a buyer with no price benchmark in their head, then deliver a quote calibrated to what the room (and the project) appears to be worth. Transparent pricing makes this harder.
  • Real configuration variability. Pixel pitch, panel tier, processor, install, structural reinforcement, and shipping legitimately vary by project. Some vendors use this real variability to justify never publishing a single number.

All three are real. None of them excuse publishing nothing. Buyers can handle ranges. Below, you will see ranges grounded in actual bundles we ship every week — not theoretical numbers.

Foundation

The 5 things that drive LED video wall cost

Every quote you receive will move up or down based on these five variables. Understanding them lets you read any quote critically and know where you can flex budget vs where you cannot.

  • Panel quality tier. Entry-level indoor (Lumina 960) vs workhorse multi-pitch (Lumina 500) vs premium indoor (Nanolite) vs ultra-fine MicroLED. Tier alone can 5x the price for the same screen size. Pay for the tier the venue actually needs — not the cheapest or the most expensive.
  • Total square footage. LED is priced per square meter of panel surface. A 6 ft × 4 ft (24 sq ft) wall is roughly one quarter the panel cost of a 12 ft × 8 ft (96 sq ft) wall in the same tier. Size scales linearly until install complexity kicks in.
  • Pixel pitch. Finer pitch = more pixels per square meter = more cost. P4 outdoor for a stadium scoreboard costs much less per square meter than P1.5 indoor for a corporate lobby of the same dimensions. Match pitch to the closest viewer, not the average.
  • Brightness (NITS). 600–800 NITS indoor panels are standard. Push to 1,000–1,200 NITS for lit lobbies and 6,000+ NITS for outdoor, and per-panel cost climbs. Brightness costs money; spec it where you actually need it.
  • Install complexity. Wall-mount on solid structure is the cheapest install. Overhead truss rigging, structural reinforcement, custom mounting, curved configurations, and outdoor pole-mount all add to the install line item. Install cost is quoted per project based on what the venue requires.

Avoid these

Common LED video wall pricing mistakes

  • Comparing panel-only quotes from one vendor to complete-package quotes from another. Always ask both vendors to quote on the same scope: panels + processor + cabling + install + shipping. Apples-to-apples or you are guaranteed to pick wrong.
  • Optimizing on the cheapest panel and ignoring the processor. A tier-1 panel paired with a bargain processor wastes the panel. The processor is what feeds the panel signal — it is not the place to economize.
  • Underspecing brightness to save 10%. A panel that is too dim for the venue is the single most common “we have to replace it next year” mistake. Spec brightness for the venue, not the price.
  • Underestimating install and structural cost. Install, electrical work, and structural reinforcement are real costs separate from the panel itself. Ask for them as itemized line items in the quote.
  • Going with the lowest-price vendor without checking install references. The cheapest vendor often has the most expensive install rework. Check 3–5 references in your size range before signing.
  • Not budgeting for content. The wall is dark without content. Budget for graphics, video, or a content template package. Walls that launch with no content plan get used at 20% of their potential.
  • Missing financing options that would have made it easier to approve. A buyer who only considered capex when a 60-month lease would have moved board approval from a quarter-long fight to a one-week sign-off. Always ask about lease structures even if you plan to pay direct.

Vetting

Pricing-specific vendor checklist

When you compare LED vendors, the price line is only one of the questions. Use this checklist on every quote.

  • Is panel and processor pricing itemized? A vendor who will not break out the panel vs the processor is hiding something. Ask for the breakdown.
  • Is shipping included or quoted separately? If separately, get the number before you decide.
  • Is install included? At what scope? Wall-mount? Cable runs? Configuration? Calibration? Staff training? Each of these is often un-bundled.
  • What is the warranty term, and what does it cover? Minimum 2 years on panels, ideally 3. Make sure receiving cards, processor, and power supply are included.
  • Are spare modules included? If not, what does a replacement module cost ordered later? Lock that price in writing.
  • Is U.S.-based technical support included? Confirm phone hours and response-time commitments. “Email support” from a 12-hour-different time zone is not enough on graduation morning.
  • Is staff training included? Confirm hours and format. On-site? Remote? Recorded for new hires?
  • Is the quote good for X days? LED panel pricing fluctuates with raw-material cost. Get the quote validity in writing.
  • What is the payment schedule? Deposit, milestone payments, balance on delivery, balance on completion. Net 30 / 60 / 90? Know before you sign.
  • What is the lead time? From PO to install-complete. Critical if you have an event-driven deadline.

FAQ

How much does an LED video wall cost?

Our published bundle pricing ranges from $9,500 for entry-level Lumina 960 indoor walls up to $203,394 for our largest MicroLED 0.93mm bundle. The tables above show the full range across all five LUMINA series. The total project cost on top of the bundle depends on shipping, install, and any electrical or structural work the venue needs — quoted per project.

What is the cheapest indoor LED video wall you offer?

Our entry-level Lumina 960 bundles start at $9,500. See the Lumina 960 pricing table above for the full range of bundles available.

Why do prices vary so much between vendors for the same size wall?

Three reasons. First, panel tier — entry-level Lumina 960 vs premium Nanolite for the same size can be a 3–5x spread. Second, what is included — some quotes include processor, cabling, mounting, and install; others quote panels only. Third, vendor markup — channel-partner pricing structures vary widely. Always demand an itemized quote on the same scope before comparing.

Does the bundle price include installation?

Our bundle prices include the panels, receiving cards, processor, cabling, and mounting hardware needed to install the wall. Install labor is quoted separately because it varies by venue — wall-mount on solid structure is a different scope than rigged-overhead or outdoor pole-mount.

Is financing available?

Yes. See our financing page for the application and current options.

Are outdoor LED walls more expensive than indoor?

Outdoor panels carry more cost per panel because they need IP65 weather sealing, much higher brightness (6,000 NITS to remain readable under direct sun), wider temperature tolerance, and more rugged construction. Our Lumina 960 Outdoor bundles range from $17,800 to $84,185 — see the Lumina 960 Outdoor table above for the full pricing.

How long does an LED video wall last?

Quality LED panels are rated for 100,000+ hours of operation. Individual modules can be replaced without dismounting the wall when they fail.
