The Lumina 960 series is the most accessible LED panel family in our lineup. It is a strong fit for buyers who want a clean fixed-installation solution without jumping straight into a more premium cabinet category.

It is engineered for fixed installations, corporate environments, churches, control rooms, and architectural video walls. The cabinet uses a full die-cast aluminum front with an iron back, and the cabinet-to-cabinet alignment tolerance is built around a ± 0.3% standard for clean large-format results.

The 960 family is available in 2.5mm and 4mm. Both versions deliver 3840Hz refresh rate, 13-bit grayscale depth, full front service, and a clean slim-profile format that works well for standard applications.

Lumina Nanolite: our more premium panel family

The Lumina Nanolite series is our more premium LED panel family. It is designed for buyers who want a more refined cabinet, lighter weight, slimmer depth, cleaner engineering, and a stronger overall product feel.

At only 42mm thick and about 5.1kg per panel, Nanolite is built around a full die-cast aluminum frame, hard connection design with no internal module cabling, and dual-side service access. It also supports dual-face mounting, which is valuable in certain open-environment applications.

Compared with the 500 and 960 families, Nanolite is the panel family that feels more premium from both a cabinet-engineering and deployment standpoint. It is available in 1.5mm, 2.6mm, and 3.9mm.

If the project is more design-sensitive, more high-end, or simply demands a better overall panel family, Nanolite is usually the better answer.

If the application involves people standing or sitting very close to the display surface, MicroLED is the series that belongs in that conversation.

For outdoor applications, we currently offer the Lumina 960 P4 Outdoor.

This panel is engineered for demanding exterior environments and is built around a 960 × 960 × 146mm die-cast aluminum cabinet with IP65 protection. It is designed for long-term outdoor video walls, sports venues, jumbotrons, billboards, rental staging, show façades, and fixed exterior installations where weather resistance and brightness are critical.

A common mistake is choosing an indoor panel for a partly-outdoor application: storefront windows, large open atriums with direct sun, lobbies with glass walls. At 600–800 NITS, indoor panels wash out in direct sun. The 10× brightness difference between Lumina 960 Indoor (600 NITS) and Lumina 960 Outdoor (6,000 NITS) is not a marketing number — it is the actual difference between “readable” and “washed out” under sun.

After installing hundreds of LED video walls across the US, our team sees the same handful of mistakes when buyers shop on specs alone.

  • Mistake #1 — Choosing pixel pitch by venue size instead of viewing distance. A 50-foot-wide auditorium still needs P2.6mm if the front row sits 15 feet away. Always size pitch to the closest viewer.
  • Mistake #2 — Underestimating brightness needs in glass-walled spaces. Lobbies and atriums with significant glass require either Lumina Nanolite at 800 NITS as a minimum, or outdoor-rated panels if direct sun ever hits the screen.
  • Mistake #3 — Choosing the cheapest panel for the most-visible spot. Your highest-traffic surface should be your best panel. Save the 500 series for back-of-house and use Nanolite or MicroLED for the customer-facing entry wall.
  • Mistake #4 — Skipping the processor conversation. Every LED wall needs a video processor sized for the pixel count. Forgetting this at quote time produces sticker shock at install.
